The data is real, or it says so plainly
The two tools that need a market price fetch it from a public price endpoint. If that request fails, the page switches to a manual input and says so — it never falls back to a stored number. Nowhere on this site is there a static figure pretending to be live.
Nothing leaves your device
All calculation and logic runs locally. Amounts you enter and boxes you tick are not uploaded, not logged, and not written to storage. Closing the page discards them. See the privacy policy.
They do arithmetic, not adjudication
The calculators return whatever your inputs imply. The checklist counts how many known warning signs you matched and will never tell you that you are being scammed — that needs facts and evidence, which is a matter for law enforcement.
Why only one calculator
Because there isn't much here that actually needs calculating. Once you can work out what each route leaves you with and what a given machine's markup is, the remaining questions are judgement rather than arithmetic — so the other three are guided tools instead of invented number-crunchers.
